The design is located in Nanjing, The objective of this project is to associate three systems of : laboratory, animal habitat and interaction space, the layered design is used in the habitat system of animals: aquatic, insect, errestrial, dendrocole and bird. Each habitat is equipped with its own laboratory and visitor viewing space,The entrance and exit of the laboratory and the tourists are non-interference with each other. There are disinfection rooms and animal isolation rooms in the laboratory, the sightseeing area has interactive space, tourists are encouraged to engage in activities beneficial to wildlife and ecosystems.
Initially, research experiments were conducted only in laboratories, which were distributed only in large developed cities; If researchers go to the wild to do research, they can only go to remote areas, most of which are dangerous and wild animals can easily lose their way. If people want to interact with animals, they have to go to the zoo, which is too limited. So, this design wants to solve these problems, so that the three systems can be combined into one system, so that people can not only better understand animals, but also provide a good habitat for animals, but also allow visitors to visit and interact better.
In this zoo tower, people can not only go sightseeing through tour routes, but also have close contact with animals. For example, in the terrestrial habitat, people can play ball games with the puppies or cats, or they can watch the eggs which incubated by instruments; In the aquatic habitat, people can touch the starfishes, and feed many kinds of fishes. This allows people to get closer to nature and enjoy it.
Researchers and tourists use the same core tube as the vertical traffic, But when they get to every floor, They have different streamlines, non-interference with each other. There are disinfection rooms and secondary disinfection rooms in the laboratory, For sick animals, there are animal isolation rooms to make them better able to receive treatment, but also to prevent other animals from being infected.
